One of my earliest childhood memories is of playing with a radio set that my parents had and hearing this eerie electronic drone emanating from it. Many years later I discovered it was Autobahn by German electro music pioneers Kraftwerk.
I started to learn piano from about 4 years old and followed a fairly classical tradition. My parents bought me a synthesiser when I was about 12 and my interest just kept on developing. I was in several experimental music high school outfits and then later the 6 piece Brighton band Jumbo who released 2 independent singles on the Stoat Records label.
These days I still listen to a lot of early and medieval music as well as contemporary rock, from Thomas Tallis to P. J. Harvey.
